Compliance and Risk Notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This notice is for anyone checking us: people deciding whether to apply, businesses thinking about listing with us, and the advertising platforms that review our adverts. It sets out what JobCove does, where its limits are and where the real risks in home-based work lie.

What JobCove is

JobCove describes openings that businesses give us, takes applications from people in the United Kingdom and introduces the two. We do not employ anyone through this site, we do not run a payroll and we do not supervise anyone's work. If you take on an opening, your relationship is with the business.

Who pays us

Businesses pay JobCove for advertising and introductions. Applicants never pay us anything, at any stage.

Claims we do not make

We do not say you will be hired, that an opening is still available, or that applying leads to any particular income. We do not publish placement numbers, success rates or star ratings, because nobody outside JobCove could check them. If you see such figures next to our name anywhere, tell us and we will get them removed.

Warning signs to watch for

Real work does not ask the worker to pay first. Do not send money if anyone asks for a deposit, equipment, a top-up, credits or a transfer before wages are released, even if they use our name. Forward the message to careers@jobcoveley.com instead.

Get it in writing first

Before you start, ask the business in writing for its legal name, a description of the work, the rate, the hours expected and when you will be paid. A WhatsApp message covering those points is enough. If a business will not put these in writing, you are free to walk away and tell us why.

What we cannot check

JobCove is not a regulator or an auditor. We do not inspect workplaces, examine a business's finances or oversee work once it has started. We speak to the business directly before an opening goes up, and we remove openings that turn out to be a problem.

How openings are written

Openings are based on what the business tells us. We do not make up pay, exaggerate the work or describe an opening as more certain than it is. If an opening and an advert disagree, we correct the one that is wrong.

Your details in brief

The form asks for your name, age, gender, nationality, country of residence, email address and WhatsApp number. They go to the business you chose and to the providers that run the site, and we keep them for twelve months after your last contact. The Privacy Policy covers the rest.

Measurement

Our pages run Google Analytics (G-57SFNLGFXM) to count visits and form use. Names, emails and phone numbers are never put into those measurements. The Privacy Policy lists every provider.

Age and the right to work

The service is for adults. Checking your right to work in the UK is the business's legal duty, and it will ask you directly.

Reporting a problem

If an advert, a message or a business does not seem right, send it to careers@jobcoveley.com, ideally with a screenshot. A person reads every report, looks into it and replies. Your rights under UK consumer and data protection law are not affected by anything on this page.
